What brand / model are you looking at.

Would be cool if there were more open hardware projects with high-end components.

#WTF #WordPress! Requiring free code developers to use #Slack to contribute to your code, and making end users use #IRC for support? You've got this exactly backwards:

@strypey Yeah, the whole Slack thing with WP is a major turn-off.

It has been a topic at various WordCamps, but nothing's been done. Same with the epic plugin/theme Subversion repo, which just hurts even thinking of it.

WP really need to shift and maybe not be 100% backwards compatible for once, simply to progress!

@angristan You'd still recommend Docker on ZFS or have you discovered something else that works better for you?
I'm in "hmmm, let's try all the things" mode, so happy to explore ๐Ÿ˜‡

Busy reading through various articles on angristan.xyz

Really well written and getting me more and more curious to try it all out. Especially to try Docker on ZFS and getting stuff more encrypted.

Thanks @angristan !

Let it be known that today I finally got the go-fed-tool to not just generate #ActivityStreams, but any extension that builds on ActivityStreams, and recursively on top of extensions.

Last major things to do before I work on the "pub" side of go-fed/activity:
- Resolver, PredicateResolver
- Managing `context` strings
- Migrate unit tests to new code generated stuff

non-programmers are an important part of open source projects. non-programmer contributions are valid and useful and not second tier or otherwise less valuable.

it's easy to say programmers are the only value-add when you're fortunate enough to have enough non-programmers that you can take them for granted.

if you take away the feature requests, translations, and general chatter - many OSS projects would have never been more than flawed, narrow use case tech demos.

For sure, which is something that just needs some time to dissolve.

With the whole decentralisation of services however, there are some annoyances and things that need rethinking. So I honestly feel it's a necessary step for the masses to adopt and shift.

Look here:

Federated Networks Association

Federated Networks Association Ry is a non-profit volunteer organization that aims to spread knowledge about federated web projects and help people and projects involved in this area.

No idea what this means, but any toot that starts with w00t has gotta be good

๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@Hughenknubbel @kuketzblog

If it only works with #mastodon, your software doesn't have #ActivityPub support.

Is there a #developper who knows #ActivityPub well (or very well) who could answer some questions some time ? I have some newbie questions for a federated project. Thanks
