8-character passwords can now be brute-forced by computers that can try all 6 quadrillion permutations in 2 and a half hours, but really, any good password system should lock the user out after the first quadrillion guesses. By the second quadrillion, it's probably safe to assume that it's not a legitimate login attempt.
Please *contact me*. All I need is the domain name, which EU Member State it's located in, and the rough topic of the instance. Approximate user count welcome, but not necessary.
Please help. This is important.

It goes much further than meditation.
Here's a short intro explanation:
Still need more practice, but Holotropic Breathwork is an amazing tool to experience a non-ordinary state of consciousness.
Way beyond just getting outside ones own head. It's getting inside a different state of consciousness.
In french, when two persons greet each other, they usually say "ça va ?", which roughtly means "are you ok ?".
I hate this.
It's binary. Either you're perfectly OK in all your life, either you're not.
And if you dare to say you're not ok… Usually the talk ends abruptly, because the other person was not asking you if you were ok (yeah kind of paradoxal, ain't it ?) but was just saying hello.
When I ask someone if they are ok, I *mean* it.
"ça va" is shit. "comment te sens-tu" is way better. ("are you ok" vs "how do you feel").
Because I try to convey the fact that I *do* care and I *want* to know. To interact.
Please take care of each other.
You can check out the official `docker-compose.yml` to see what services you need.
mastodon meta (fairly important) Show more
gargron is now on record as saying that the mastodon api is only for mastodon
what this basically means is that the mastodon ecosystem of apps, helpful tools, etc will only ever be reliably compatible with mastodon with the rest of us jumping through hoops to try to reverse engineer it
so, in summary, a community that is allegedly federated actually does have an avenue through which one platform can control it. just fact.
makes u think?
